With the economy being depressed, the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle thought we would try something different this year.
We know that gas prices are rising.. People have families, and college students are short on cash.. So we wish to help you out!
What this means - is that you need to contact us ahead of time to arrange the times you are available. If we have jobs lined up for that time period - we will pencil your name in. For each hour you work - you will be given a refund of a set amount of money. (amount is still to be determined).
If you are a heavy fighter and want to ensure you have a couple hours to fight - we can do that!
If you are a fencer and wish to cross blades in the name of a barony - We can make sure that your working schedule is free!
We will be looking for people to be Servers for the "Above the Salt" feast, runners through out the day, people to assist in setup and cleanup of activities throughout the day.
* It is important to note - that any volunteers receiving discounted rates - will not have their time counted toward the "Service Point"
